About Me...
I'm originally from Solon, Iowa and moved to Augusta, Georgia in 2006 where I spend 11 years. I graduated from The University of Iowa in 2004 and acquired my masters degree from ASU in 2010. I served as a 5th grade teacher for 6 years and as a STEM Coordinator for Dorothy Hains Elementary for 5 years. In June of 2017 my family moved to Phoenix following my wife's new job running Phoenix Children's Hospital Cancer and Blood Disorders department and I took a position as the 6th grade science at Altadena Middle School. My wife Carolyn and I are joined by our three sons Garrett, Holden and Carter. In my free time I enjoy being with my family along with mountain biking, gardening, photography and being active + outdoors.
